Armonil review

Armonil, also known as Valium, is a versatile medication possessing various effects that make it quite valuable. This medication can be used as an anticonvulsant, sedative, hypnotic, skeletal muscle relaxant and for many other situations. Armonil is used to treat mood condition, panic attacks, seizures, insomnia, muscle spasms, painful muscle conditions and symptoms needing muscle relaxants, alcohol withdrawal and withdrawals symptoms (such as benzodiazepine). It can also be used in procedures such as endoscopies to relieve tension and mood condition or to induce amnesia in certain surgical operations. It has been used to treat hallucinogen overdosage and other CNS disturbances and spine-injury related conditions.

Armonil is usable in a variety of forms including 2 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg pills, injections, solutions, suppositories for renal administration, and even inhalers.

Armonil is one of the World Health Organization’s “Essential Drugs” for the minimum needs of each basic health care service. It is used to treat a wide variety of conditions – earning a reputation as one of the most prescribed medications in the whole world.

Dosage varies based on each situation, taking into consideration the patient’s age, medical history and condition. Your healthcare professional will give specific instructions for taking Armonil.

The dosage for healthy adults ranges from 2 mg to 10 mg taken 2 to 4 times daily. Dosage for elderly patients and patients with liver conditions are often smaller at the beginning and will be increased or adjusted accordingly.

Side effects include drowsiness, reduction of REM sleep, impaired coordination and motor skills, dizziness and nausea, depression, balance problems, voicelessy learning and even irregular heartbeat and anterograde amnesia possible in higher dosages.

Rare counter-intuitive side effects may be experienced such as mood condition, irritability, insomnia, and in some cases an increased tendency for rage and violence.

Some medications will enhance the effects of Armonil when taken together, including barbiturates, narcotics, and anti depressants. It is recommended to avoid alcohol, tobacco products and contraceptives while taking this medication. Armonil enhances the effect of alcohol, lowering blood pressure and increasing the depressive effects. Oral contraceptives can inhibit the elimination of Armonil from the trunk. Tobacco use can facilitate the elimination of Armonil and decrease its effectiveness.

Armonil should not be taken when the patient is pregnant, particularly in the third trimester where there is significant risk for the infant to develop withdrawal symptoms from Armonil as well as impaired responses and hypotonia.

Armonil faces potential for substance abuse and can lead to withdrawal symptoms similar to barbiturate or alcohol dependence. It is recommended that Armonil be used only for short term interpositions.
