Cipram is a drug used in treating several depressions due to mood disorders. It is classified as an antidepressant drug. It helps restore the balance of neurotransmitters in the brain that causes the improvement of the person’s mood.

Individuals who have allergic reaction with the drug may experience swelling, difficulty in breathing, rashes and itching. If any of the side effects persists, you must seek for medical attention the soonest time possible.

Before using Cipram for your medication, inform your doctor if you have any allergies to it or to other drugs. Also inform your doctor about your medical history especially if you have hypertension, low blood pressure, heart disorders, kidney problems, stomach bleeding, mental disorder and mineral imbalance.

This drug will make you dizzy so it is best to avoid driving and other activities that require mental alertness to avoid injuries or accidents. You must also avoid alcoholic drinks because it reduces the effectiveness of the drug.

Depressed patients may have suicidal tendencies so it is important to be cautious. If any suicidal thoughts or depression becomes worst, a medical attention is needed.

Pregnant women and nursing mothers should first consult a doctor before medication. You must discuss the benefits and risks involved before undergoing treatment.
