Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine are drugs combined together for the treatment of hay fever symptoms. Both drugs works effectively in relieving symptoms such as runny nose, itchy, sneezing, nasal congestion, and red eyes by preventing the effects of histamine.

Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine comes in a tablet form that can be taken orally. The standard dosage is 60mg of Fexofenadine and 120mg of Pseudoephedrine which is taken two times a day. The dosage may also vary with a 180mg of Fexofenadine and 240mg of Pseudoephedrine taken once a day.

Both drugs should be taken with just a glass of water but without food. If possible, take the drug with the same time daily. Avoid chewing and crushing the drugs inside the mouth.

To ensure the effectiveness of the drug, you must take it as prescribed and do not stop medication until advised by your doctor.

It is common for most drugs to cause side effects when used. When using Fexofenadine and Pseudoephedrine, certain side effects may occur. Common but less serious side effects may be experienced such as dry mouth, stomach pain, insomnia, skin rashes, blurred vision, dizziness, and may also affect mental alertness.

While under medication, you must avoid using drugs that also induce drowsiness or sleepiness, such as pain relievers, muscle relaxers, sleeping pills, and drugs used for depression and seizures.
