Flucytosine review

Since this drug can cause the skin to be more sensitive with sunlight, it is best to avoid direct exposure to sunlight. If you need to go outdoors, you must wear protective clothing, sunglasses or hat that can protect you from the heat of the sun. You can also use sun block or other similar products. Avoid tanning sessions while under medication.

Avoid driving and using machines or any activity that requires mental and physical alertness because this drug may cause dizziness. Avoid smoking and drinking alcoholic drinks while under medication.

Pregnant women should inform the doctor before using the drug. Nursing mothers and women who are planning to get pregnant should also consult a doctor if you need to use Flucytosine for medication.

As a prescribed drug, it should never be shared to other people without proper consultation with a doctor.

All medicines should be stored in a safe place away from children’s reach to avoid overdose or harm to others.
